We are pleased to have you as a guest of a member of The Berkshire Country Club!

Whether you are attending a golf outing, business meeting, special event, or will simply be enjoying the Pool or Restaurant for the day, the below information should help you to feel right at home while visiting the Club.

  • Golf
    • A standard golf dress code policy applies to everyone, including children, while on the Golf Course and practice areas. Shirts must remain tucked in at all times and proper golf shoes are required. The changing of clothes and/or shoes must be done in the Locker Rooms located in the Clubhouse. Junior must abide by the same dress code rules as Adults.

      Acceptable: slacks, golf skirts, bermuda-length shorts, rain gear, collared shirts, jewel-neck shirts & sleeveless shirts for woman,
      Unacceptable: t-shirts, cargo shorts, cut offs, bathing suits and jeans are not permitted.

      Cell Phone Etiquette:  Cell phones are permitted on the Course, but we ask all members and guests to please refrain from phone calls for the courtesy of other members and guests.
  • Clubhouse/Special Events
    • The Clubhouse maintains a relaxed dress code that permits denim on Thursday and Friday evenings after 5pm in all areas of the clubhouse. Denim is always permissible in the men's lounge area. However, sports shorts, torn denim and graphic t-shirts are discouraged. Gentlemen are required to remove caps when dining indoors.

      Cell Phone Etiquette: Cell phones are permitted in dining areas for texting and email use only.  We ask our members and guests to take any phone calls in non-dining areas as a courtesy to other members and guests.  Please keep phones on silent.

  • Tennis
    • Tennis shoes are required to play on our courts. Though a "whites" policy is not enforced, proper tennis clothing is required. Cut off jeans and bathing suits are not considered proper attire. When dining before or after your match, tennis apparel is permitted on the Patio as well as in the clubhouse dining areas.

  • Pool
    • Only proper swimwear is permitted in the pools, cargo shorts and denim are not acceptable. When leaving the immediate pool area, a bathing suit cover-up, and shoes, must be worn. Children who are not toilet trained are not permitted in the Main Pool, and must wear a swim diaper in the baby pool.
